SomaBolo School of Thai Bodywork is approved by the NCBTMB as a Continued Education Approved Provider #1001025. SomaBolo offers a collective 250 hour Thai Bodywork practitioner certificate. The program consists of multiple training modules in Northern-style Thai massage for the traditional floor mat, adaptations for the massage table, therapeutic acro flying, and self-massage techniques. The classes are available for both beginning students as well as advanced therapists.
Upcoming Training Classes:
This in-person workshop will give you the techniques of a clothed Thai bodywork practice suited for the massage table and to incorporate into your current table massage practice. We'll cover elemental theory, history, and the fundamental methods to provide a full body 2 hour Thai session.
Participants will be provided an accompanying manual to follow along while giving and receiving the therapeutic techniques.

These in-person workshops cover the basics of traditional Thai elemental theory and techniques to give you a foundational understanding of Thai method helping you incorporate them into your current table massage practice. These training classes are open to anyone interested in expanding their talents, but are especially geared toward Licensed Massage Therapists looking for high quality yet affordable bodywork training.

Class Prices:
One thing you might notice and question is the different class prices. To explain, there is no difference in what you receive between the "Accessible, Regular, and Generous" options. I prefer to use this format rather than an Early Bird discount which I find rewards those that have the extra money to put down right away and punishes those that may need to save up to register. Using the Accessible to Generous options each person is able to choose what ticket cost they are comfortable with, and the prices do not change.
I also offer a no-pressure/no-interest payment option toward a Regular ticket, where the participant decides the payment schedule that works for them without hardship.
I never want money to get in the way of someone bettering themselves and their career.

You will leave this one-day class with a whole new service to add to your menu as well as 15 & 30 minute add-ons. Thai Foot massage is a simple yet powerful way of applying reflexology. You do not need to be an expert in reflexology to perform this modality AND you won’t wear out your thumbs because there is no thumb walking! This is great as a stand-alone treatment or an add on to your massage. A wooden Thai reflexology stick and manual is included with your tuition.

Learn the art and science of this ancient Northern Thai healing tradition. Tok Sen therapy employs a wooden hammer or mallet and chisel along the Thai Sen energy pathways. It acts a Thai form of tapotement, and the vibration caused by tapping along the Sen channels assists in releasing muscle tension and blocked energy. It is soothing and gentle for the client. You will learn protocols for each of the Thai Sen lines as well as how to freestyle and incorporate this technique into your existing Thai or table massages. Each student will receive a high-quality rosewood Tok Sen set to take home. Previous Thai massage experience is recommended.
